Default Cramming a huge box into a 350z

I'm looking to get a cmpx215 into my z when I get it this summer (few more weeks to go). It requires about 2.5^3 ft of enclosure space, and I'm trying to figure where the hell I can put it and not completely lose accesibility to the spare. I was thinking of building a box where most of the box is under the bar and back to the rear part of the trunk, with the side of the box slanted so the sub aims at the rear window. Kinda like this:

___|_
|____\

The vertical line is the stabilizer bar. I understand that that part can't be 15" high, so I'm going to fiberglass the front so it flows nicer; it'll probably have a slope to it, which I think will look good. Anyway, how much space is there in that area?

I'm not sure of the amount of space that is there and I know this isn't exactly what you are looking for but Pook's sub install may help in giving you some ideas as to the real "size" of the area. I believe those are 8 inch subs in Pook's install and the CPMX2 15 is 15 inches, almost double the size. In addition at 48 pounds I think you may need to beef up the suspension! That magnet is HUGE! In any event, good luck!

Yep, my sub is a monster If I really do need a new suspension, which should I go with, and how much will it cost? With the box it'll probably weigh in at around 100 lbs.

Do you really need to use such a large sub??

I have a 10" Kicker in a box with a 1.5 cu. ft. volume stuffed into what used to be the spare tire area and the bass is unbelievable in that little Z.

I can't imagine NEEDING anything that large, unless you are in competitions or something...

I plan to do sq competitions, and I really like the deepness of a 15. It's really impossible for a 10 to go as low as this 15 can. I don't need the full spl output capabilities of it, but I do need the deep, crystal clear nature of the sub.
