Default My Final Post on the Acic D3

I should be buying it within a week. But I have a few final questions if you don't mind.
1.So to bypass it, so that video works while you drive, all you have to do is this(Ground this single wire)

2.And what is going on here.

3.I was told a dash kit was not necessary from some people, but this guide says one is needed, whats the deal.

4.It only has one aux which is the front
5. I have gotten different responses to this question bout does this unit play well with the new iPod touches.

Check out avic411.com. They have forums with all these questions answered.

To bypass, you have to ground the brake like you have shown, and you have to move the mute wire up to the pin above it. More detailed instructions are up there.

Overall it's a very easy bypass. I own the unit (its not bypassed right now) and it was a good purchase.

If anyone needs to know how to bypass it, here you go. I cant seem to find an answer to question 5 though.

Details on how to bypass.
1. Remove the yellow and black mute wire.
2. Place the Mute wire in the slot directly above where you removed it from.
3. Using a wire tap (radio shack 10 for $5) connect the mute wire to the ground.
4. Using the wire tap (that is already attached to the parking break wire/green wire) attach it to the ground wire as well.
5. GROUND the BLACK WIRE....AKA GROUND DUH! ENJOY!
