Default The BIG 3 UPGRADE i searched

OK well i must suck at searching cause i got 33 pages of results, but i am gettin ready to do the big 3 upgrade and the runs to the alternator look rather difficult. how did you guys do this run. and while ur at it what bolts did you use for the others

why are you running to the altenator? most of us did it to the battery..

if you are going to do the altenator then just upgrade all the altenator wiring to 0 gauge

the one from the battery to the alternator is what is causing me concerns

i know my cousin replaced all his altenator wiring with 0 gauge.. but i havn't really heard anyone pushing so much power that they had a problem with their lights dimming or anything

Doug you can add me to that list. We upgraded all (well most) of my electrical wires in the engine bay involving the alternator and battery to 0/1.

thanks for the pics did u have to jack the car to get to the bolt on the alternator. its ooks like it goes wayyy down there

Yes the car will have to be lifted to access the alternator in any fashion.

thanks. will a single wheel jack be enough or am i going to have to find a second or does it really need to be lifted
