Default Question on JL sub - Help

Hi everyone,

I've recently purchased JL sub and amp from a member. When I received the package, I found out the serial number label on outside of the box was removed. I also didn't find any serial on the woofer itself. I'm not sure it's real/fake jl.

When I turned the sub upside down, the plastic ring fell off, and the glue around the foam didn't look right. I'm not sure if it was refurbished. Please advise. Thanks in advance

Please see below for the link and some photos I took.

I haven't tried it out yet. The seller said it's brand new.

He said he purchased from amazon but didn't noticed the label was removed.

To member whom own jl, do yours have serial number on the sub itself?

That ring comes off. It is not permanently attached. The speaker looks legit to me. I have JL Subs too
