Opinions on Boston Acoustics reference speakers
what do you guys think of the BA SPZ series. They are almost $1200 retail but I heard they are god like in listening experience.

never heard them, but i'm not a BA fan.. their mids always sounded too muddy for me.. and i never liked their tweets.. much better options for cheaper

i've got a set of boston acoustic z6 in my z, which i believe is the older version of the spz and i think they are amazing. the sound is really clean and crisp.

I like boston as well. I got to hear some last weekend. I heard some that were400 and some that were 1000 bucks. They all sounded great.

i wanted it to look like stock so i mounted the tweeter over the place of the stock one, and used a spacer for the mid to mount in the stock location.

i have heard that you are not supposed to mount the tweeter more than 6 inches from the mid range

my camera just broke so i don't have as many pictures of the install that i would like to have. all i have is a picture of the tweeter after install.
