I am running a Pioneer 9800BT HU . I am going 2 way active by using the Alpine PDX 4.100 and a 1.600 for the subs. Sub preout goes to the 1.600 front preout goes to the tweeters channels on the 4.100 and the rears go to my mids on the 4.100. One channel per speaker.

I just wanted to make sure that this is correct and my mids use the rear signal even though they are up front with the tweeters in my kicks

does your headunit have bandpass filters on the channels specifically designed to dhtat? if not, you want to use only your front preout to the 4.100 and use that amp's onboard xover to go active, if that amp has the right xovers filters that is...if it doesnt, then you need an external xover to do the trick
