Default V-comp and other sound insulation products...

I already have lots of brown bread sound deadening but want to get insulation foam. The B-quiet store sells it for $65 for a 54"x36" sheet.

I think I need 2 sheets? what do you think??

Also is there better prices on this stuff elsewhere? I am also going to pick up some egg crate foam for the storage bins and the rear hatch as additional insualtion against road noise.

so how much foam do I need, best prices, and maybea cheaper alternative??

brain fart...just remembered about the Teklite foam from Edesigns...curious as to its effectiveness.

You think that product coupled with brown bread is all I need?

What about ensolite from Raammat?

or Vertex Barrier Pad?

You could also look on McMaster-Carr's website for a closed cell foam, it is sure to be cheaper than a brand name and most likely just as effective.

I was just reading up on ensolite.

It seems ensolite is more popular, or at least results in more searches under road noise. Only downside is that it is non adhesive

I have heard good things about the teklite. I was going to order some this spring to try it out.
