when i hit the eject button in the cd player in the car, it just makes like a cracking sound for about 5 seconds and the cd wont come out. this happen to anyone else? what did u do?

 

Same thing on my beater (Sentra). It will play the CD but will not eject it. I got an Ipod adapter.

 

The same think happen in my G, I took it to the dealer, and they order a new HU, and sent the old in to have my CD's removed. I have to listen to the radio for like a week

 

I had the same problem when I first bought my 04 roadster. If you are talking about the stock (non-bose) head unit, it is very poor quality. I took mine apart, plugged it back into the power and used a knife "help" the internals eject the cd. I then bought a used unit on ebay and had the EXACT same problem day one. Now I am on my third stock head unit (only cost me 40 on ebay). I'm going to replace the whole sound system in spring tho. Seems like a $30+K car should have a decent head unit. Shame on Nissan...

yep . i know what this is like ...
i just pressed eject and while the CD players trying
to spit out the CD i stuck another CD underneath it to push up
the CD and pop it out .
that normally works ... but that gets really old really fast .

 

So you have to do that every time?
