Default head unit replacing for automatic Z

I am sure someone has asked before, but does any know how the dash comes apart in an automatic Z? I have seen dozens of pictures for manual Z's but I want to replace my head unit.
Does that ring near the shifter just pop straight up?

It's basically the same except for the part right around the shifter as you've figured. Yes, the ring that surrounds the shifter lever pops straight up. I just kinda dug at it with my fingertips and some pressure and got it to come right off. I was afraid to pry on it with anything because at the time I hadn't done it before and didn't wanna scratch it.

thank you. I knew that round piece was the only thing holding me back but I wasn't sure how it came off. I thought it just popped off but I didnt want to try and break it if i was wrong.

I know how you feel. I was just braver (or more stupid) but eventually my curiousity got the best of me, so I pulled....

Good Luck on the rest of your install. If you have questions, ask.
