I did search, but found some mixed answers on this issue. Does anyone know what cable is needed to get the iphone to work on the DNX7100 fully? I want to at least be able to charge the phone, and see the artist/title on the unit, and video as well if possible.

Went to best buy to get the cables, hooked it all up and got it working! Thanks for the info. Has anyone had the issue where while playing music on the Iphone through the Kenwood, the elapsed time of the song on the screen will freeze, and you can't do anything!! The only way to change the song is to use the iphone controls. I can't do anything at all with the ipod controls on the Kenwood, if I try going to the Music or List options to bring up a song, nothing happens.

 

i had the same issue when my iphone firmware was 1.0.2. after upgrading to 1.1.1, everything worked fine. i posted about it here.

Hmm, I had 1.1.3, but the 1.1.4 version just came out. Going to try that and see what happens.

 

did you also update your dnx7100 with the latest firmware? what version is your deck at?

 

Yup, just did the new update the other day.
