i thought of doing this, for the mere fact of even weight distribution. I have them mounted on the Zenclosures amp rack, but i was thinking of getting rid of the rack and going this route. I will measure the space under the seats to see if there is enough clearance.

if youre running a serious amp, there is not enough cooling under the G seats, i would assume also it is the case in the Z, i had a 1000W amp under there that overheated constantly so i hid it in the trunk.

what about turning on the AC for the feet? that might suffice. I mean if amps are designed to withstand a hot trunk, i would assume they would be fine under the seats with some AC flow.

You could be the leader and mount the amp(s) on the nose of the Z car, also great for weight distribution lets correct that 52/48 weight differences, damn NiSSan engineers. Yes the aerodynamics would suck but the cool air is great for the amp(s).

EVER HEAR OF THE TERM SEARCH????

well I'm going to try - I have a pair of cheap amps, plenty of clearance for an amp less than 2 inches high and 10 inches wide. Nice cut out in carpet to run RCA's. I need to figure out how to secure the darn thing-- Velcro??
