Hey everyone i just got my new Z last night and i have heard rumors that you can take a filter out of the navigation system so you can play dvd's if anyone has any info please email me or respond to this thread.

That is just a rumor.
The stock navigation DVD deck cannot be modified to play standard video DVD's. You will need a separate DVD player, and an interface to the stock navigation screen. Plan on spending upwards of $800 to make the conversion and get the DVD player.
