Default Can I power 2 fronts and 1 sub like so...

I'm looking to get a Alpine PDX 4x150 amp...run a Alpine SWE-1043D DVC Sub from 2 of the channels, and run the 2 front coaxials from the other 2. The question is, my front coax's will be probably the Polk MMC650's which has about 80w RMS...I'm wondering if running so much power into these is a bad bad thing...I'm still pretty new to the whole audio thing so I'm not sure if there is a way to restrict the amount of power going into the speakers.

Thanks!
Eric

It's too much power for those speakers. But the configuration is fine, it's what I'm running. PDX 4.150, front channels going to power some DLS UP6 components, and the rear channels bridged to a JL w3v3.

This amp is beautiful

Yes it is... I'm running the same amp to my Seas set:

Front - Seas LOTUS Performance Series (SQ Speakers)
Sub - Seas LOTUS 10" Sub....
