The box is 2ft^3 total. 1ft^3 per side....A little on the small side but there's subs out there that will work in this space.

I need to order another Ed 13ov to test the box. I only had one at the shop. I should have it this week to see how it sounds....

Box pricing......probably around $160.00.

Yes, we'll be able to make this box for 1-12" ported.

thanks mike

I never got around to testing one with the ED's. As soon as I have the time I'm going to put this set up in my Z. Its going to be a project pulling the old system out so I keep putting it off........

We have built and shipped over twenty of these already and have had nothing but positive comments about it. I've built this box for 2-10's, 2-12's, and several ported boxes for 1-12.

Mike,

I didn't see the ported box on the site. Is that by special request only? What art the specs on the Ported Box, just curious!

Well when you test the 13kv's and let me know your happy with the sound, You have a sell. I just would like your opinion becuase we essentially will be using the sam subs in the same car and box. So, please shoot me an email when you decide the quality level.

R,

Julius

Once in a while we run sales strickly for forums members.

If you live in Florida shipping will be less...about half off our normal shipping charges.

Thanks Mike

Yes, we have making the ported version by request. Due to airspace your pretty much limited to using a ported set-up for a single 12" sub.

We've been just using standard round plastic ports.....We just shipped a box out for a JL12w6 with two ports, one on each side of the sub. I'm hoping the customer will let us know how it worked out.

Thanks Mike

if you make this box for 1 each 12" driver , can it be double baffled , and can it be ported ?

i would want 1 with 1 each 12" rear firing , x 2 baffle, and 1 each 6" aeroport rear firing can you do it ??

also what will the net interior space after 1 each 12" and port displacement ?

is the construction using 3/4" mdf ?

and what is the gross interior space as well

and what is mounting depth max?

LMK

2 x 4" aeroports rear firing

35 hertz tuning so lows will not be lost and tones can be burped at 40 hertz
this design free's up my hatch for
3 new amplifiers
6 batteries
fused distro blocks
5 runs of 1/0 awg

issue's are for me
finding a driver that can handle 7000 watts
finding a driver with 8.5 " mounting depth
finding a driver that works well in the net cu space this box yeilds

i am waiting on Mike to answer a few ?'s i PM'd him on

this opens up a whole new alternative for 350 owners , cause Mike will be the only sponsor offering a ported enclosure for our members

6" aero ports will not work FYI volvo 7848

they would need to be 21 " long to get 35 hertz , the box does not allow for that long

max would be 2 x 4" aero about 7-8 " length

cause we want driver and port face back
