I had a 12w0 (not sure if it was v2) in my previous car (mazda6) and I really liked it. I thought it had good response yet the bass was deep and broad, not punchy. However that was the first system I ever had in any car, so I don't really have a good basis for comparison. If it's free you may as well use it.

You might as well utilize what you have. The W0's are nice cause they put out a decent amount of bass while not taking up a lot of space in your trunk with the box. You're not going to need a hefty amp to push them though. I would either go with a JL A1400, Kenwood KAC-7204, or an Arc KS300.2. If you're not looking to spend a whole lot of money, the Kenwood is your best bet ($249). Hope that helps.
