*I'm not doing this to my Z*

How can I put small screens in side rear view mirrors? Do i have to buy them premade that way?

I didn't want to say what for cause i can't stand all the haters on the site. I'm building a custom show bike and i'd like to throw some screens in my mirrors. I'm not sure if it'll work cause the mirrors i'm using are kinda small but i'd like to see if its possible.

if you can find an LCD screen the same size as the mirror and you can run video and power wires through the mirror.. then yes you can do it..

you just need to separate the screen from its backing.. and make sure the mirror is deep enough to hold electronics in the back.. or you might have to do some soildering

Thanks for the reply. Say i got a 1.5" LCD screen, would i just cut the 1.5" out of the mirror? or do i have to get rid of the mirror all together?

well you would have to get the screen a little smaller than or the size of hte mirror..

so if the mirror is 1.5" or 2" then you can do that.. but remember the back of the mirror needs room for the electronics..

if the mirror is 2 and the screen is 1.5.. then you would get a piece of ABS Plastic 2" and then fit the screen in the plastic
