Question ARC AUDIO FD10's High end woofer need help

Just purchased some of the above subs from a member on here and he gave me a pretty good opinon on what amps to get for the subs to sound to there capible performance. i understand from many reviews from perfessionals to regular customers of these subs that they are very well designed to perfection to sound great as well as there amps most of all. Now my problem is there amps are prettty expensive when it comes to one that can put out 2 channels of around 300-500 each channel (300-500watts per sub). soooo im trying to figure out what amps i could purchase that are highly recommended for good sound quailty and not just alot of empty watts that will power these subs to hit hard an sound like actul musical bass like they should. Thanx..kinda a budget question i suppose lol..(for refrence ive found the jl HD amps and all the amps that are above 700 that have been recommended frm other brands, wondering if theres anything else worth getting thats possible cheaper that anyone may know of.) thanx again in advance

Lots of good amps. Check out Elemental Design for a good, inexpensive amp.

Box design and installation will have a larger impact on the sound of your subs than any amp.

Zapco, Memphis, Audison, and USAmps are all great. Budget and preference will be the main factors. The JL HD amps look interesting, and I have been tempted to shrink my system down to a smaller footprint.

See if this link helps, not sure if you have single or dual voice coils.

I have been installing Arc amps since they have started business. Exceptional Quality. Look at the Kar series, they are priced pretty reasonable. Have great sound quality and awesome performance. There 900.1 or 1000.1 would be perfect for that setup and the new design looks nice and not to flashy.

If you buy a good quality amp, it won't matter whether it's mono or multi-channel.

How are you powering the rest of your system?

I may be selling my DLS A6 which would be an excellent amp for your subs.

You can wire 2 subwoofers to a mono amplifier no problem it all of how you wire it. It all depends on what final load you want to run your amplifier at (ohm) as well do you happen to know if the woofers are Dual 2 or Dual 4

I would be able to help out the situation a lot more if i knew that

here is a useful link that you can use ...... http://rockfordfosgate.com/rftech/woofer_wizard.asp
