Problems with Sound
I have an Avic D3 installed and it worked great for the past 2 months I had it. 2 Weeks ago I installed components and rear coaxials.
I did not get to install the tweeters because I have to make it fit somehow later but heres the problem. Recently when going over a small bump, sometimes just normal driving without a bump.
All the sounds just cut off but the HU is working perfectly. Just no sound
Then after awhile sound just comes back on.
My question: Can 1 loose connection affect all the other speakers or is it an internal problem with the headunit?

Are you using an amplifier to drive the component speakers? If so, then yes one loose connection, especially if it is grounding out somehow, can cause your amp to go into 'protection' mode. Does it always cut out for the same duration, i.e. stays out for 5 seconds or so then comes back on?
EDIT - I think what happens is that if you have a loose connection or section of bare wire (which is what I had) that is touching anything metal and grounding out, then you essentially short the circuit and when the amp detects this it momentarily shuts down to protect itself. On my amp the power inidcator light would turn red, while it is normally blue. I also noticed that the sound would cut out while the HU kept playing, which is why I eventually pinpointed the amp as the problem.

^^ I’m pretty sure (99%) you provide the answer. If a positive (+) wire touches any metal part and grounds-out, the internal amp will “go protective” and there is no sound.
The first spots I would check are places where wiring goes through any metal hole without having a rubber grommet to protect from chafing. If that checks out as OK, the next thing to look at is the physical connections of the wire to the speaker.
The curious part of this is the OP reports a loss of sound, and then it (the sound) comes back.
