Any way to make the cigarette lighter plug stay on all the time??
I was very surprised to see that the power plug between the seats loses power when the car is turned off. I like to leave my cell phone in the car to let it charge up, and with the plug dead, this can't happen.
It's been a long time since I've owned a car that doesn' t have an always on power plug.
Has anyone found an easy way to keep this plug hot all the time??

get some 14 or 16 gauge wire. connect it to the HU Main power (should be big yellow wire) and run it to the back where the cig ligher is. cut the + (its the pin on the left thats horizontal) and connect the wire from the HU to it. Constant on.
OR
I haven't check this but if the light from the glove box comes on when car is off you can tap into that wire.
