Rockford Fosgate - P162S

Midrange Diameter 6.5"
Midrange Depth 2.6"
Tweeter Diameter .75"

Will it fit with any kind of spacer in the front doors?

I used the factory molded speaker frames when I installed my Boston Acoustics Z6's and the clearance was fine. I used tin snips to cut out the factory driver and the plastic frame / basket.

The guy who sells ZEnclosures on E-bay sells spacers and of course Nazer's door pods is something to consider. www.wickedcas.com for the door pods.

They probably will not fit without a spacer but I would check with RF first.

Thanks guys much appreciated, I'll post in the fitment guide thread when I get them and list any tics to the install. I think I have aftermarket speakers in the front already since they sound pretty good with my RF rear speakers and subs. I'm going all Fosgate and so far it sounds pretty kickass.

If you start a fitment guide for the rears, the Rockford Fosgate P163 6-3/4" (3-ways) fit perfectly.

And the kid seat mount thingy makes a good ground if your amps are on the amp rack w/ the Zenclosure box.

Just a side question, did anyone install tweeters over the factory ones, if so how did you do it? I'm guessing just removing the stock tweet and drilling a hole to run the wires through and mounting it on top the the factory spot?
