Default Corner Subwoofer Enclosure

So I finally got my system completed. I had AutoSound and Security make my box. I would of love to make my own fiberglass box, but I ain't got the skills to pay the bills. I think they did a pretty good job. It's got a 8" JL Audio 6w3. Here are a few pics I just took.

Just curious, why didn't you just go with the Wicked CAS corner pod?

http://www.wickedcas.com/product.php...4&cat=8&page=1

Seems like it would have been less trouble and cheaper. Probably better built too. Yours looks nice, I'm just wondering.

Don't know why I didn't go with the Wicked CAS. Just be different I guess.

The pod is removable so I can fit my clubs in there.

FYI. a set of clubs fits in front of the rear strut bar with drivers and everything so you don't need to pull your sub to toss in your clubs to the trunk. For two sets of clubs into the trunk you will however...

Looks great. I have 2 10" JLw6s in a removable box but the box is pretty big. Had it made removable for when I run the car. Sounds great just bulky

How does this corner sub sound? I am considering the same set up. Specifically, the Wicked C.A.S. corner box. I don't really need 2 "10's like in a zenclosures or stealthbox set up, but I want a decent punch of bass.

It sounds good. I need a stronger amp, but I think I get good bang for my buck. I don't need to shake my neighbors window panes when I get home, but it still thumps.

A new amp will come in a little while.

Hope that helps.

It does indeed help. Let me know what amp you went with and what difference it makes. It's a tough decision trying to pair a sub and amp together. I'm thinking a "12 and a decent amp will give me all the punch I'll want.

In my 350 Nismo, I went with a 500/5 & a 10w3. In a wicked cas magic box & hertz hsk 165. The build quality was awesome. The fit was flawless. The sound unbelievable.
Now in my 13 Nismo, I ordered the corner box, for that same 10w3 & jl cs, & this micro sized 500/3. This amp is Almost small enough for the glovebox. I just got it today.
I'm curious over a couple things. Door panel removal pics ? Or steps. & I think I'm going to do the same thing I did last time & use the oem speakers as brackets
Any insight would be helpful. Also, anyone here use an swi rc ? I have volume but no pulse for up down or source. The destructions say only one resistor, but I remember 2 on my old z. Again any help would be appreciated !
