I thought about an intro and decided aginst it to make for less reading. I am doing a SQ install in the Nismo and want to know some opinions on amps.

Fist being would you use a class AB sub amp or a class D? Basically will I be able to hear or tell a difference between a class AB and a class D?

Second question I need some options on amps. I have spoke with Bing and he has given his thoughts on it however I cannot ship my car to California for a month at this point and time. So I am in need of a soild SQ sub amp to push some Image Dynamics 10 or 12 inch subs (2). What route would you go?

I would listen to whatever Bing told you. While he may not be able to do the intall for you, I'm sure he could sell you good some equipment at a very reasonable cost.

 

Lots of opinions and there will be no "right" answer since there are so many good amp manufacturers. Buy a DLS or Zapco from Bing and you'll be set.

 

I have had luck and been pleased with the mainstream brands JL and Memphis Audio. I also went more boutique with my DLS amps and am very pleased with it. It is usually cheaper to go all out once instead of going halfway to only up grade later.
