Hello everyone. This is my first post and I am new to the community. Does anyone have any suggestions on replacing the factory bose sub with something a little more powerful?

you will have to replace the amp also. i used to have a kickerCVR 10" in there for awhile then replaced it with a premier2504. it didnt sound bad at all. of course i had to make a fiberglass plate for it and mdf rings but overall it didnt sound bad at all. eventually i just made a box and the box sounded a million times better.

 

Wow! $850 smacks for a box with a sub. Must really be a magic box.

 

^^The subs i bought from a local audio shop for like $180 a piece. The box and amp rack i made myself when i used to work at circuit city
