OK, this was interesting enough to me to post my own thread. I have read somewhere that is it possible to make the cubby hole above the radio door raise/lower automatically. Is this accurate? Is this something I can get from the facrory? If anyone knows, please do enlighten me.

Yes, it will raise automatically when you push the button on it and it will automatically close when you pull it down with your hand and click the latch.



Sorry for the smartass remark. I have never heard of anything like this.

 

supposely the 04 model with the Nav option will be electric auto open and closed. This was in one of Nissan's 04 lineup announcements.

Still waiting to see one in action so I can try to retrofit...
