Subs are easy for 150 and under per sub...same with components...but the amp is where you will run into problems...I personally use kicker subs...very reliable..awesome sound, and an even better price. I spent about 150$ per sub...but when it came to powering them..I spent almost 900$. Granted you can get a good amp for way cheaper...but when you are like me and hate dealing with new companies..you'll stick with what you know..and for me that is kicker.
Just do some research and you will figure it all out..there is a TON of info hidden in these forums..just takes a little time to dig it all up.

For that price range
Components
Phoenix Gold RSD Components, CDT entry level components, Alpine Type-S/R Components, REAudio RE Series Components could possible be in that price range.
Subwoofers
FI SSD, Alpine Type-R subwoofer, Kicker CVR's, REAudio RE/SE Series.
Only amplifier I know of off top my hand that would be that cheap are Hifonics Brutus 1208D.

Thanks for the link, I've been looking for a sight that does more than just buy parts and stick them in.
