Can somone give me a hand? I looked through the manual and found nothing.

Basically since yesterday, my remote has changed in the following way:

- It no longer vibrates, and only beeps
- The signal strenth meter just flashes every couple of seconds (its off, and flickers on for a brief moment) indicating no signal, even when Im close
- The Auto Window Down Icon is flashing, but I've never had that icon on before, and that option was not purchased...
- It is also showing the 'phone' icon, indicating somone has paged me, but I don't have the pager installed.

The remote was working fine for about 6 months until now.

I can't seem to find out how to program the remote to fix these things, I don't know if the remote is wonky, or if I just accidently pressed a bunch of buttons!

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Check the battery life. Mine does some wacky things when the battery is dead. Also I had one of my remotes replaced under warranty for issues you are describing. My LCD Light went out again but just havent had time to go back.

What was the problem?

 

It was a programming issue. Brother's gotta get some baggier jeans...LOL.

 

The "Auto" Icon is an automatic arming mode. Annoying as hell! Hold down button 1 untill it beeps, then do it again a couple times until the Auto icon is no longer on the screen.

As for the other wierd crap, try a new battery.
