Default Xenarc installed, but having a power issue

Hey guys, I got my xenarc touch screen installed last night. It fits perfect and looks great!!! But I wired it to the stock radio wires, and i have the std HU not the bose one. I used a fluke meter to find a 12v source when i turned the key on and wired it to that. I also grounded to the HU and not the cars frame, which I think I am going to change when i get home tonight.

So my question is, where did you guy tap in to get a 12v source for the screen? I would like the screen to only come on when the key is in, just like the radio. thanks! and thanks to whoever found the xenarc screen! it fits like a glove!!!

It's been a while since I installed my xenarc. I think the ACC ON power wire was the light-green colored one. Mine's BOSE but I think they were the same color anyway.

yep had it on the HU, but removed it and decided to plug it into my PC's 12V lead, so I can use external Power to power the PC and screen when I'm home and parked to save battery life.

Yep, I had it grounded to the HU ground wire. That ground goes away when the lights are on so thats why the lcd was going out. All fixed now! thanks guys!
