as you can clearly see in the title i have no clue what these are called but im talking about the people that dont have the oem navigation and put screens in the door comartment, my question is ive seen plenty of installs using the same style plastic surround that still uses the stock door, but am wondering if there are any other styles available? i have an 07 base and am contemplating putting a screen there but i really prefer the look of the newer style of navi in the newer z's... im sorry for a bunch of rambling but i dont know any of the proper words for these parts and obviously thats why i cant search effectively. anyways sorry again i hope im not repeating an overasked question or confusing everyone by my blabbing but i really want a screen but only if it looks like the newer z's. thanks!!

 

If its a bezel you are looking for, Metra makes a piece that is already cut out for double din but its quite large so you just need to trim it down to fit. Its a pretty handy little part. Your local car audio shop should be able to get it. I can't remember the part number.

If you have an 07 you'll want to buy and 03 cubby.
The rest is a pretty simple install.

i have an 07 is there a way to install an lcd screen (just to be used as a screen and the bottom have a double din unit) and keep the door for the upper cubby? instead of replacing the whole center unit with a 06+ w/nav and no cubby door.
