Kinetik HC1400 battery
Absolutely. I just installed the larger HC1800 today in my '03 and it fit no problem. There are other things to consider though:
1) The terminal locations are opposite so you need to flip the battery around (so you read the logo upside-down from the front).
2) I had to make a 1/0 wire extension with two large terminals coming off of the positive terminal and I also had to make new Ground wires. This is always good to do anyways. The wire coming off the the positive terminal bolts onto the factory fuse holder clamp. Its a crap design but you just have to be creative with it. Pm me for more details
3) The hold down is good enough but you'll have to loosen it almost all the way for it to work properly
4) The cowel piece that attaches to the bottom of the window may need to be ground down a bit underneath depending on what terminals you will be using.
Thats about it. Physically it will fit without issue but be prepared to do some modifying to the wiring. Good luck!

I have a HC1400 under my hood but if I had to it over again I'd go with a PowerMaster XS Power D5100R. The terminals are reversed on the 5100R so no modification would be necessary unlike the Kinetik.
