Default iphone connectivity?

What is my best bet for listening to my iphone 3g on my stock bose HU? I have heard that many ipod adaptors wont work with iphones. And I would like to use the ipod when its plugged in. I dont like how some adaptors render the ipod useless. Should I go with the PAC aai-nis2? thanks in advance!

With the stock HU, my guess would be a charger/FM transmitter for the iphone.

I believe the Belkin TuneCast Auto is the only one currently on the market that specifically states that it works with the iPhone 3G, but there are others out there that work, but don't specifically say so.

look up Usa spec.
you can buy it at crutchfield and you gotta order the 3g cable the charges the iphone 3g.

its like 139 for the Usa Spec thingy + 10 for cable I think. It plugs into your 6 disc cd-changer plugin on the back of your factory headunit.

i have a 3g as well and read all about this stuff. FM transmitters or casette player ones are not very good in quality. they say the USA spec is just about as good as it gets.

yeah but can you go thru the iphone and switch songs when its plugged in? i was thinking more along the lines of the PAC aai-nis2 because it just plugs into the 3.5mm headphone port.
