Default HeadUnit Suggestions for Z

So, I made this account to see what the fug was so special about this site; the bf was always on it. At first, I was convinced the only explanation was that homeboy must have a butch cyber girlfriend who drives a Z, lol. After being with him for 2 years I realize he just loves his car and the enthusiasts that also share his passion.

With that said, I'm buying his *** a head unit for his birthday/xmas gift! He has a 2003 z with no head unit and terrible bumps (my sick *** performance vehicle 2003 Honda Accord has a better sound system, lol )!

Who better to ask than the experts; I looking to spend 6 bills...any suggestions?

I just bought my brother a JVC KW-AVX710 DVD receiver. It was around $450 from Crutchfield.

Here is a nice alpine as well

That Alpine unit looks pretty dope. I would go with this Pioneer personally and make sure and get the ipod adaptor. http://www.crutchfield.com/p_130AVHP...DVD.html?tp=75

Does he need a screen or just a good deck?
A good screen for the price is the Pioneer Avic-D3 or JVC KW-AVX710 DVD as has been said. The F700 or F900 are a good way to get him all pissed off at you for buying him a laggy, slow and small screen.

For decks, look at the Pioneer Premier DEH-P800PRS. Thats a nice deck for pretty cheap.
