But did brick drill into the body to attach that or did brick make a plate of some sort to mount the camera bracket to if that makes sense?

no drilling in tihs case. not sure still what you mean, i think if you saw the camera it would make complete sense, it has a bracket, mounted to the body via double sided tape it provided, then the camera goes on to the bracket and is adjustable, the cable goes to the inside via stock grommits and then to whereever it needs to go.

The reason I asked was because, I also used the 2 sided tape, and it wore off probably due to climate changes in about 2 weeks. I have removed the camera after the fact. Thank you.

interesting, not sure, i have done a few dozen of these types of cameras, with the 3m tape they provded, non has ever fallen off. the 3m tape is what htey use to put on body kits, so its extremely strong...shouldnt ever have a problem.
