I'm kinda lazy and heading out to dinner, but how much airspace do they require?

good luck bro. I can honestly not see why you would ever need that much bass unless you competed its a waste of money and hearing imo.
If your competeing it should do good i just dont have any idea where to put them big bastids. maybe you could make two boxes one in the spare tire well and another facing up on the other side of the strut bar.

Seriously man please tell me this is for competition. Each one of those subs will require a massive box. Together they will literally take up your entire trunk and spare tire space...not to mention sound like poop with all that bass

Sell one and call up Z enclosures or fab up your own. I kinda have the same issue. Check my thread.

Best place to put any sub in the Z is a rear facing box under the strut bar. Well, that is the best place for sound quality at least. But like everyone said, that is a lot of bass in a small cabin. Very unnecessary.

they need 2.33 cu. ft. / 66.0 liters each..

i dont care about not having a spare tire and stuff.. just wana get the bastards in there..
and i kinda bought them before i got my Z so i didn't planed to compete with them..
but it would be fun to drive around the block and disturb people :P haha

im thinking about remove the plastic behind the seats and make my own "wall" with speakers and the woofers but i dont know whats underneath all the plastic.. anyone who has checked that out??

2 W7's in a Z........you'll only need them to work for about 3 seconds before you start having seizures

You are probably going to have to build a wall as I mentioned earlier, or do a box similar to this one in theory:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2003-...8627QQtcZphoto

However, your box is going to have to go down into the spare tire well and the space around it (removing the foam pieces) and perhaps extend under the rear strut tower bar. Even then I'm not sure if you would have satisfied your airspace requirements. Good luck.
