You check the fuses under the hood too?

i have the exact same problem with mine. I have came to the conclusion that it is the BCM (body control module) you must have fried a circut in the bcm.

Did you plug the wire back into the gauge pod after install?

Yeah. I almost did the opposite. I forgot about it when I was taking out the console and almost ripped all of the wires out. DOH!

so how do i replace it or figure out thats the problem? pricey? its frustrating driving with no dash....

as far as the other questions its plugged back in and everything. checked the fuses under the hood. didnt really check relays but dont know if any will really affect it.

its strange...my the lights behind my ac controls are there. jsut no gauges at all. the oil/various/batt gauges are dark but working and my speedo/rpm/gas/ect is dark too. but my warning lights like brake, tps, ect work. im lost....

i dont really think there is anyway to test it just replace the BCM. Yeah my gauges all worked just didnt light up and all the warning lights came on but my radio wouldnt work and the 3 gauges in the center wouldnt work nor the gauge cluster. The BCM is 370 dollars from the dealership and the bcm is located behind the driver side kick panel. You will have to remove the dead pedal and then remove the kick panel. Im almost certain that you fried a circut in the BCM but dont hold me to it just speaking from experience.

** this may not help, I have an 07 and im only speaking from my experience with my car, I dont know how the 03-06's are **

BUT, there is a little white box below your temperature control ***** (its about 1 inch tall maybe 4 or 5inches wide) once you pull your center panel off (piece that includes gauge pod is what im calling the center panel) that plugs into your hazard button.

for some reason if you dont plug that white box back in the gauges and gauge pod will not work.

maybe this will help you? You could always just check your hazard lights to see if you plugged that box back in and if they work, then my advice will not help you; if they do not work, hopefully it's as simple as reconnecting.

good luck

thx for tryin ive checked and rechecked everything and its all plugged in. im thinking i may have shorted the accessory wire or something. thats why i thought it was a fuse/relay at first. with that bit of knowledge any other ideas? at least im narrowing it down somewhat lol

with the 03-05 if you do not plug that white box back in the heating will blow very hard and you can not control the temp setting and also none of the heating control lights will turn on.

Are you good with a multimeter and a wiring diagram? Start shooting wires for continuity, if you have continuity before your BCM, then after it also then it is probably your BCM. Find the relay that controls power to your gauges and check for continuity. Time to start digging Good luck!

If you're not familiar with a multimeter then just replace the BCM, if it still doesn't work then take the BCM back for a refund.

the bcm is behind the driverside kickpanel beside the fusebox. You have to remove your dead pedal at the feet to get the kickpanel off. Then you should be able to see your bcm. Its a little black box with wires running to it
