Hey guys currently I'm running 2 10" phoenix gold rsd subs and a kicker zx1000.1, its just a bit too much bass at times and now that the car is my daily driver I want something a bit less loud and nicer sq, I'd like to keep my amp if possible and switch to a 10" or 12" sub just 1, gonna get another under strut box from zenclosures for 1 sub and would like a recommendation on a good sub, not too worried on price would like to keep it under $250-300 for the sub just need some good recommendations thanks guys

 

i would say FI Q in either size or image dynamics IDQ in either size would fit the bill nicely. 12 will have to be custom box though as i dont think zenclosures or any mass producer makes an understrut for a 12.

ok I like the price tag a little better on the image dynamics sub would I be going with the dual 4 ohm or dual 2 ohm to run with my kicker zx1000.1 amp? thanks for the help

 

i would go 4ohm. Your amp running 4ohm if i looked at the right one would be 500 watts. which would be about perfect for the IDQ.

 

bass control ****,cheaper than replacement of speakers.

 

I'm about to pick up a JL 10w6 in a couple weeks.
