Kick pods vs. stock location
now the question is, how easily can you reach it?
IMO if you have a 6.5" in the kicks, unless you go the re-route the wiring and cut stock metal to sink the speaker into the car route, i dont see how you can do a proper kick and still acutlaly use the dead pedal normally. i have built a coupla but you really cnat reach it.
of course if you sacrifice its internal air space so much and use a thin speaker and just literally mount the speaker to the kick, you can get away wtih it, but that would in a sense cancel some of hte advantages of it
i saw yours james, it doesnt count, firstly its just a 4" midrange, not a 6.5" midbass, and i still think people with bigger feet would have a hard time reaching the deadpedal all the time?
