xbox or ps2?????
hello
i am debating between an xbox and a ps2. i know they have their pros and cons for each. what is the best in your guys opinion? where is the best place to put each? i want to get the wireless controllers(rf) to control it with so i can put it in the glove box if i have to. i already have the power cable running back there from the battery, and i am getting an fm modulator for the sound. all i have to run is the video lines. thanks for your opinion

i'd go with xbox, no memory packs, but no good microsoft brand wireless controller's eather. but anyways, xbox all the way.............plus you gotta factor in what you are going to be using it for and what system you already play alot on.........but i like the xbox...........so.......im gonna have to say ps2

I like PS2, yes... no built in memory card, but Id call that a good thing, that way you can pull your memory card out of the car and continue a game anywhere... hate to have your game locked into your car.
also the game library is WAY bigger. you get all of the vast PS2 games, plus the gazillions of PS1 games if you want. and GT3 is on PS2 with GT4 due out around xmas. plus 2! yes 2 new final fantasies also coming out in november and december. yes yes, its a good time for PS2 indeed.

yeah i agree XBOX is the best. Got one and just better its cool to build in a chip so u can play burnt games. and u can put a bigger harddisk init and just store the games on it so u wont have to use a cd anymore.
AS OTHERS TOLD U GET A XBOX MUCH MORE OPPORTUNITIES

There are plenty of good reasons to get the xbox - that's not one of them.
I would make my desicion by what games you want to play. Some are PS2 only and some are XBOX only. A system is only as good as the games it has available for it. One may be more technically advanced than the other, but if there aren't any games you want to play on it what good is it?

I love my ps2 I had it in 2 different places, 1st place was right over the passengers feet right under the fake golovebox, but that place got old cause i had to stretch to put a cd in and out. so my new place is standin up right behind the passengers seat, u only get one less notch out of the pass. seat so its no big deal, and I have 2 sets of cables, so i can easily just unhook my ps2 and bring it inside. if u need pics ill take some.. Im thinkin about going old school and puttin nintendo in there too.

My Sibs and I owned all the latest systems on the market and I have to say the PS2 doesn't get any play. The Xbox sees the most game time.
It's true that PS2 has a vast game library but for every good game that is on the PS2 there is like 30 crappy ones that are a big waste of time. The PS2's lack of capabilities means it has really linear games. You get games that have really good graphics and mediocre gameplay...OR...games that have great gameplay and crappy graphics. Theres always a compromise....long load times...repeating graphics...stupid AI...you name it. What an outdated system.
However, the Xbox is a big step from the ps2. It was grim a year or so ago but things are getting better and awesome games are crankin out. I'd probably toss out all my systems before I let the Xbox go.
As far as the ps2...I might undust it and plug it in for a few weeks JUST for Gran Turismo 4. Then back in the gutter it goes.
