PHOTOS ADDED: Sub in factory location in roadster doesn't work anymore?
Roadster that i've had for over a year sub doesn't work anymore but the sound from all the other speakers work. The guy did a ghetto install and i use the cig lighter in the back to power the amp that power the sub.
Now idk whats wrong with it. I checked the fuse on the amp and everything is okay and i get power from the cigarette adapter. Can anyone tell me other things i should check look for??
Worth replacing the whole setup? it sounded amazing when it worked so i dont really want to replace anything just tryin to get it fixed.

Err wait, you/someone used the power from a cig lighter power to power a aftermarket amp that powers a subwoofer?
If so, never heard of that before.... Pretty sure the cig lighter uses a 16 or 14 or MAYBE a 12guage wire, most amps want/require atleast a 10guage if not bigger (8guage is typically considered the min)

Could you take a picture of what the amp looks like? So we can see if theres anything missing and how its actually hooked?
I would go and replace all the power/ground/start wire with atleast 8guage.
