wow that one is really clean. i have always wanted to try a set of 10's but never got around to it. well my amp gets here on monday so i will let you guys know if the Q sounds a little better. if not i think ill just gut the trunk out and make my box deeper and for dual 12's and get another amp and upgrade my electrical so it can handle 2 1608d's with my Zeus. hopefully it wont come down to that...

If it makes you feel any better I just spent 4 hours putting sound deadening all through my trunk area. No internal rattles....sounds perfect...in the car.
Rear bumper must have 1000 little things that rattle and I really don't plan to take it off to deaden the stuff outside the car. Its almost sad because I can't tell when it sounds like ***, and I know I'll embarrass myself one day, especially with how little bass escapes the car now with the windows up.

lol, it took me about 3 nights 3 hours each night to deaden my car. i was very **** about it and made sure that every inch of the trunk AND the hatch was deadened, as well as the doors. i was going to deaden the roof and the floor as well, but i thought about it and realized it would only block out road noise, which i wouldn't hear anyway from my music being so loud. i ordered 72 sq ft of edead and i have a good amount left over, its more than i know what to do with. my bumper doesn't rattle at all, just a tiny bit of rattling coming from the hatch door, but i think its the plastic paneling on the door itself. who knows, maybe when i get my other amp and feed my sub more wattage, it might rattle more. hopefully not...

I moved fast when working last night (trying to hurry) had taken it apart before so knew right where to grab the panels, and took the "make the panel heavy" approach and just put an extra layer next to areas I found too time consuming to cover. I can always go back and do it later. I also put deadening in large unbraced areas of panels (even small panels) and it made a huge difference.
I haven't done my doors yet, just pulled the drivers side panel to get started now (after spending 4 hours getting my amp installed and wired...hope I don't have to take the dash apart again). This is the 6th time I've had all this **** apart so its becoming routine now

My sub is rear firing so that could be a large portion of it.

lol i see.... what deadner are u using? i have only pulled the Z apart once, but it was the ENTIRE car. i have also deadened the walls of the car as well. i love how it sounds on the inside. for some reason i absolutely hate taking the dash apart too. its not that its hard its just annoying as hell. but unfortunately i will have to when i install my navi unit.

Edead 45 mil.
I got 3/4 the way done with my drivers side door (being careful not to cover a nut, bolt, or whole, and said F*** it. Put everything together, slapped a huge piece on the passenger door covering all the bolts etc, cut the screw holes for the door panel, and assembled that side.
I figured if there were rattles I'd fix them later, since I'm not running THAT much power it shouldn't be an issue, and I heard no rattles.
