Thoughts of soon to be new system
Will hopefully be ordering everything I need for my new system within the next 1-2 weeks and just wanted any final thoughts before I actually do it.

i would go ahead and get the LEGATIA L61-2 so you can upgrade later and get the L3 or L4 later and run 3 way
but that requires you to go active
and for the love of god, get someone to build a box to spec... not some damn prefab box

2) If I had someone make me a box it would cost a sh*t load more than I want to spend. I contacted Z enclosures and they said they could build the box to spec with my sub (.5ft) he also went on to tell me how he has an Elemental Designs 11OV2 (earlier model) in his Z and loves it. Would having someone make me an amazing box that is going to cost hundreds more really make that much of a difference over a Z enclosures box built to spec?
Thanks for the input so far.
The Zenclosures box will be fine, he made mine to spec and then I changed it. I'm probably going to either have one made that creates a false floor (or do it myself) to replace my Z enclosures box, but get the volume right and keep proportions decent and its all gravy.
You don't want a box that is tube like unless its "tuned." Generally if I remember correctly you want to keep within 1/2 of your widest dimension on your narrowest dimension. You get standing waves internally, and disproportionate boxes can have different "dynamic" and static volumes (effectively) because the far reaches of the box take longer to be reached by the waves.
My box is fairly full of poly-fill to stop standing waves and help deter port turbulence.
I have no idea what size the 03 alternator is.

e5.10 = 1.86L of displacement which according to some conversion website = 0.065685 ft³
There website suggest a .4-.6ft box for sealed, .5 being ideal. So when I request my enclosure size should I request .5 or .55? Would it really make a difference?
