Hi guys, I have a JVC KD-R200 (single din) and am trying to install ito nto the Metra 70-7550 kit. In the manual, there are 2 methods: the din mount method and the ISO mount method.
My radio did not come with a rib cage, so all I did was slide the radio into the metra kit, and secure it with the front trim plate. It holds the radio, but I'm afraid the kit will snap when my car vibrates...
Here's the link to the manual for my radio: http://resources.jvc.com/Resources/0...T0582-001A.pdf
For the ISO mount method, it said to use the ISO brackets with the radio, but if I attached it to the radio and tried to fit it into the kit, it would not fit.. So now I don't even know which method is the right way for installing the radio into the kit.....
