Hey guys I got a 2003 350z and i am looking to do something new. I am thinking about either a) getting rid of the cd player I have and installing a double din cd/dvd/gps in its place or b) leaving the cd player and putting something in the above storage bin in that little compartment please let me know what you guys would do and what product you would use please include links. There's nothing new about this set up. Hit the research button and read up pal.

Hi Andrew… and welcome,

“Your mission, Mr. Andrew, is to do a thorough search using multiple parameters on my350Z.com where you will discover many implementations of the exact question you are asking.
If you choose to accept this assignment, you will discover a plethora of information. After you digest all of the facts and gain much information and knowledge from this site, you should recompose and re-ask your question(s).
If your mission is discovered, we will disallow any association.”

Of course I am just kidding with you. New members and their input is what we want on my350z.com.

Your question is too broad and lacks enough detail for any helpful response. If you can drill-down to a more specific question you will get lots of help here.

Thanks for registering on my350z.com.

I'll answer: Put the double din dvd/gps/cd player in. It will make your car look updated and will sound better than stock ****. Good prices in the following link: http://www.woofersetc.com/

Good luck

^^ Good response… But the OP also asks about installing a monitor in the Z’s upper/forward cubby. That’s a very desirable position for its better viewing position, especially when running a GPS. The Z’s Double-Din slot does not meet the new (albeit, informal) specifications for GPS viewing. However, the Z's upper/forward cubby is right on as to mounting a GPS LCD screen.

Spike has a point when it comes to viewing angle but I would just get a double din unit and call it a day. Alot of people put another monitor in the cubby and with a search you will see plenty.
