So I was thinking, I have an older 3rd gen 20gb ipod and was wondering if there was any way I could store a movie on it and then be able to watch it on my Kenwood DDX812 via the ip300v cable. The ipod is a HD so I don't see why I couldn't somehow transfer a movie file onto there. Just curious if my DDX812 would pick it up.

 

If the iPod doesn't play video, then neither will the DDX812. The HU is only controlling what the iPod does and receives back what the iPod does. The movies aren't "stored" on the HU.
