Default Amp power cable help

So I know this is probably a noon question so hopefully I won't get flamed too bad but I'm installing the typical subwoofer box and amp setup and I'm just about done I only have one question...I can't seem to find a good place to get through the fire wall to connect my power cable to the battery. I even drilled a pilot hole up above the clutch pedal and had no luck there so I wondered if anyone had any suggestions on the best way to do this I've been all over with a flashlight and can't seem to catch a break...
