2004 '04 Head unit replacement by 2006 '06
Hi,
I already searched for answers but I cant find information on compatibility between stock bose head units
I would like to replace the original Bose headunit of my 2004 touring roadster, but I dont care having a nav system.
That's why the stock 2006-2008 bose headunit seems good for me, but I would like to know :
- its quality
- is it plug-n-play in my 2004 ?
- do I have to buy any PAC harness ?
- if I am buying an aftermarket headunit (double din like eclipse or pionner) the PAC-NIS2 harness is MANDATORY with my bose configuration ?
Thanks.

Thanks. The ebay's seller told me it's plug-n-play, that's why I would like to double check here.
What double din can you suggest me, and is there one which is not requiring the usage of a PAC-NIS2 harness ?
