Default ipod with bose...

Does anyone know if there are extra jacks on the bose radio in the dash?

I dont want to use an iTrip for the ipod since the sound quality isnt as good as a direct line feeding right into the stereo.

I was curious to see if anyone had found a way to rig up an ipod that connects directly into the system besides buying a whole new radio and stuff.

Im kinda thinking optimistically but im aware that there is no easy way.

thanks for the input

I'll give the standard "search" statement, but I'll go ahead and tell you.

There are a couple of different devices that you can get.
I had the USA-spec unit and it worked very well.
Here's one on eBay:

Try this:

I've got it right now and it works great if you dont want to spend money on a new headunit

Get the PAC aux adaptor, it plugs into the back of the bose harness and gives an rca input, it works great. Its about $50.

The Bose harness is the existing harness that plugs into the back of your HU.
