So I have a problem with the Sound comming from my new system. The SQ is great for about the first 10 seconds of a song but then sucks at any volume above 20 (20 is half way up). You guys got any ideas.
Comps are high end CDTs
Amps are both DLS. A4 for the comps
High end wiring and RCAs
Any more questions let me know...

Pioneer Z2.... I dont know if they are set properly as I had it installed.... Can someone tell me what the phase **** does and if that could be the cause? It only will do this with the volume above twenty on the headunit..

I would try turning the eq off on the head unit, put the bass to the minimum, set the bass boost and the gain on the amps to the minimum and try playing something. Then I would slowly start turning the gain on the amp up. If it sounds okay while doing this I'd say you just need someone to properly tune your system.

yup would keep them a 80 personally. Also make sure you are playing a well recorded CD good components amps etc. can really bring out the terrible sound of a poorly recorded cd.
