Jor8888: How'd did you mount it there? =)

 

That black strip plastic under the rear stop light comes out by pulling it like rest of the panel in the car, then drill 2 holes thru the v1 visor mount and put 2 screws thru, make sure they are just long enough to go thru the other side so u dont hit the v1 itself with the screws.

sounds simple enough...do you hear any rattling noises from it?
it looks like you cut a piece out of the weather stripping...or was it like that already? (i havent gotten a chance to look on my car yet) AlSO does the remote have a volume control and an on/off switch for the radar unit? or do you have to keep reaching back to turn it off or adjust the volume??

anyone thought about putting the concealed unit in the rearview mirror? I know other cars have had it done, but I wonder how much room is in the mirror, and just how much "stuff" is in that unit.

 

Yea I did cut the weather strip, but no noise at all and u set the mute and regualr volume on V1 and the concealed unit can only mute the volume so I set the mute volume to 0.
