From what i know about stereo systems, if you r going to use a stock deck you will need to use the stock speaker wires. You can always pull the wires to the new location of the speakers and connect it that way. And this of course is not using an Amp. I would search around first to see the different ways people have did their builds.

Hope this helps.

wait why do you want to cut any speaker wires in the first place i thought u just want to replace the speakers...? while your back their and if your putting in an aftermarket deck, which hopefully is the case, i would definately run a nice thick ground wire straight to the frame from the H\U. when i put an indash in my 350z it wasn't getting enough juice to run on the stock ground

Which speakers (front or rears, or all four) do you want to disable?

^^ OK... Send an email message to Pioneer support asking this question (How do you connect OEM wiring to the Pioneer model H/U you have).

Easy solution...

Behind the deck you can either cut the grey and grey/black and white with white/black OR if it has been hooked up via RCA (Bose low level input) then disconnect the RCAs labelled 'front'. This will disable the front speakers.
