Hey guys, sorry to ask such a covered question but I cant find exactly what I am looking for, I have searched but maybe I am missing it...I have found alot info of older models with Bose and newer models without bose...

Anyways I have a 2006 w/ Bose and I want to hook up my ipod with CD quality...I want to keep the stock HU and it would be nice if the adapter could display the IPod info on the bose HU...I plan on adding 2 10inch subs later on if that matters...Any help would be awesome on a product like this...

Thats What I have and I love it! The only thing it does not do is display the track info on the HU...

No matter what you do, don't buy a UPAC-NIS2 from Pacific Audio. They sound terrible. They do show the song title on the factory HU... sometimes, when it isn't crashing... but expect the volume for the ipod and satellite radio to drop to about 50% of normal. PAC acknowledges it's a problem but they refuse to actually spend time and resources to improve their product. They claimed to me that later versions of the NIS2 incorporated an amplification circuit to resolve the volume issues. I can tell you from first-hand experience, it's a load of bull. I'd be reluctant to ever buy another product from PAC.

If you know how to take the radio out then it easy. All the ipod adapters i have come across are plug and play.

 

OP I would really like to have song info displayed too! So if you end up getting it please let me know how it works! BTW i have had some products from that company before and it all worked fine.

 

I would say it's pretty simple install and I am not that technical savvy. There is a step by step install process posted somewhere on this site
